Asia to become the world leader in 3D TV

Asia is leading the global 3D broadcasting industry, stepping ahead of the US and Europe, reports The Chosun Ilbo.
Japan successfully broadcast 3D HDTV via satellite more than a decade ago during the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, and since 2007 Japan BS11 cable channel has been airing 3D sports and travel programs four times a day.
